As a record of the project, I am attempting to take a picture every day.
Please note – to protect the innocent, I started out blurring the face of my infant son where he appears. Starting in October, we decided he wasn’t so innocent anymore (and, I got lazy with the photo editing), so he doesn’t look so blurry from that point forward.

Before the project launch . . . design & build:
testing and fitting the muslin pattern
The design is based mostly on practicalities – what can I wear everyday for a year, in as many situations as possible, allowing for layers in cold weather, indoors and out . . . also, big pockets for my wallet, phone, and keys . . . not frilly but can pass for “nice” if needed . . . and this is what I came up with.
